In this episode of From Russia with Fear, two police officers in Arzamas are accused in a case involving torture and abuse of power. Near Moscow, investigators are trying to understand the death of a young woman found below a high-rise building with a knife wound. We also look at a school fight in Vladivostok that continued when the parents arrived, and Russia’s plan to build seven huge multi-regime prison complexes for more than 20,000 people. Different stories, but all of them raise questions about violence, public safety, punishment, and the institutions that are supposed to maintain order.
